How do I know if I qualify for service?

To sign up for ACCESS service, call 412-562-5353. A customer service representative will determine the programs you are eligible for and asssit you with the requirements for enrolling.

How do I arrange a ride?

Once enrolled, all reservations must be made at least one day in advance through your local area provider. You may call on Friday for Sunday or Monday reservations, but this is not required.

Standing orders may be placed once and kept on file, as long as the trip has the same pickup and return times and destination, 3 days per week. A cancellation rate of more than 50% may result in cancellation of the standing order. Standing orders are automatically canceled on major holidays.

What is the Service Area?

All of Allegheny County as well as destinations 1.5 miles outside the county line.

How much are ACCESS Fares?

Fares vary according to eligibility and distance traveled. Your fares will be paid using a convenient electronic account called ePurse.
